Hardware & Tools Holden
Founded in the late 1800s, Holden Milling & Elevator began in Holden, Missouri, purchasing wheat and milling it into flour. In 1955, the business was acquired by the Heiman family, and since 1975, Jerome and Sue Heiman have continued operating it as a family-owned business. Over time, the company expanded from flour milling to producing bagged livestock feed and custom feed mixes. In 1981, a True Value hardware store was added, forming the True Value Hardware & Farm Supply Store. Diane and Mark Klossen joined the business in 1985, and a full-service lumber yard was later added to meet the needs of the Holden community.
